Americans' views on the environment are changing and companies will need to stay ahead of the trends to be viewed as employers of choice. Now more than ever, employees want to work for a company that is aligned with their personal values. In a recent poll of attitudes in the American workplace, more than three-fourths of U.S. workers said it was important for them to have an employer that was going green in a significant way. However, two-thirds of workers said they were greener than their company. It's not a stretch to say that greening your business can help build an excellent brand that attracts new talent and retains existing employees.
