Business Description: InfoPartners provides outsourced IT infrastructure and support to small companies throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Specializing in the latest in data, voice, and video IT management, InfoPartners becomes a true partner with their clients, providing a diverse array of support and service plans. With a focus in four market verticals; venture capital, professional services, emerging growth & biotechnology and medical devices, InfoPartners provides companies with 24x7 remote monitoring and operational dependability. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in San Carlos, California, InfoPartners is privately held, internally funded and profitable.
The Challenge:
InfoPartners had need of a solution to identify and hire technical professionals more quickly and at a lower cost than their traditional recruiting channels. As a small but growing company without an HR or recruiting function, there was an increasing need to attract staff with a combination of client facing skills and technical expertise. They had experience working with traditional recruitment agencies and a contract recruiter, but neither option provided the service, process, resources or qualified candidates at a reasonable cost. InfoPartners was also lacking an applicant tracking system, a standardized reference and background check process, and a maintenance-free careers page.
The Accolo Solution:
Accolo and InfoPartners began working together on a project basis in December 2005, to drive the search for Sr. Engineers/Systems Administrators. Based on that early success, in August 2006, Accolo became InfoPartner’s internal recruiting department, implementing full-life cycle recruiting, applicant tracking and website careers page management. As the partnership has developed, Accolo has been responsible for the hiring of key management positions including the Controller, Sales Director and the Director of Engineering. Those hires now hold key leadership positions within the organization.
Results:
In 2007, Accolo introduced the candidate that would be hired in 7.7 days on average
The company’s Recruiting Cost Ratio (cost of hiring divided by compensation hired) is 3.4% resulting in an implied savings of more than $235,000 in 2007 compared to the national average of 14.9%
