WEB SITE PRIVACY POLICY
We respect each member's privacy and confidentiality. Accolo has established this privacy policy to explain to you how your information is protected, collected and used. This policy may be updated by Accolo from time to time. We take privacy and any form of abuse personally and very seriously and we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse to communicate information that we believe is inappropriate. It is the responsibility of individuals to use our facilities in a manner that is legal, respects the privacy of others, and does not infringe the copyrights of others. It is also the responsibility of members not to re-publish information provided by others without the author's consent. If you believe a member is not acting responsibly, please let us know. Repeat offenders will not be allowed to participate in Accolo. Accolo meets or exceeds the minimum standards for HIPAA privacy and data security compliance.
1. Overview
Thank you for visiting Accolo.com (the "Web Site") and reviewing our Privacy Policy. Your privacy is important to us, and our policy is simple: we will collect no personally identifiable information about you when you visit the Web Site unless you choose to provide that information. We don't share your information with anyone except the hiring authority when you apply for a specific job. We don't share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. This Privacy Policy does not describe information collection practices on other sites, including those linked to or from the Web Site. Account information is password-protected. Keep your password safe.
2. What Type of Information We Collect
The server on which the Web Site is located collects and saves only the default information customarily logged by web server software. Such information may include the date and time of your visit, the originating IP address, the pages and images requested, and any information voluntarily provided during your visit.
Accolo does not store credit card information. Credit card transactions are transmitted to a financial gateway, and we endeavor to protect the security of your payment information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.
3. Information Collection for Job Posting/Searching
We collect your email address for purposes such as sending confirmation emails, notifying you of jobs that may be of interest to you, following-up on a specific referral or application, etc.
For hiring members: By approving and launching a job, you are authorizing Accolo to communicate job related information to members and outside resources for the purpose of filling your job. If you choose to keep your company name confidential, Accolo will not disclose this information in its communications.
For job seekers: By applying for a job, you are authorizing Accolo to release your information to the hiring authority for that job. The information to be released will include your resume, contact information and your answers to the screening questions.
Accolo may collect EEO information when job seekers apply for jobs, and this information may be provided to the hiring company in aggregate form for purposes of meeting required government reporting.
Accolo members can manage their information and can opt-out of future communications through their personal console or through the main Web Site.
Although Accolo meets or exceeds the minimum privacy and data security requirements for HIPAA compliance, we cannot guarantee complete security.
Accolo may disclose information about its members if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
Accolo may also disclose information about its members to law enforcement officers or others, in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: enforce our Member Agreement, respond to claims that any posting or other content violates the rights of third-parties; or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Accolo, its users or the general public.
4. Children's Issues
The Web Site is not directed to children under thirteen (13) years of age, and children under such age must not use the web site or services offered on it to submit any individually identifiable information about themselves.

This Web Site contains comment sections and user forums (a.k.a. message boards/ blogs/ forums). We do not actively monitor these comments and the information on them is for entertainment purposes only. If we are alerted to something we deem inappropriate in any way, we may delete it at our discretion. We use email validation on most of our message boards in order to reduce "comment spam." These email addresses will not be shared with any third party.
